In a statement made around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 18, Geoff Beasley, owner of the Dunkin Theater and Godofredo’s Pizzeria and Taproom, announced that he has entered into an agreement to purchase Naifeh’s Deli and Grill from Joe Naifeh.
Joe Naifeh, owner of Naifeh’s Deli and Grill had announced earlier this week that he had made the decision to shut down the restaurant that has been in operation in Cushing since 2004.
According to Beasley, the restaurant will be temporarily closed for a couple of months while he and his staff cross train employees and make adjustments to Naifeh’s menu and operating hours.
“I couldn’t let it close,” said Beasley. “It’s been here for too long and it’s too much a part of this community, to just see it close.”
