Murder trial continued to May 2

STILLWATER — The trial of Quinlan Phipps, 20, who is charged with one count of murder and one count of desecration of a human corpse was continued to May 2, as of last Thursday on April 25. Stillwater Police Department arrested Phipps on April 17, according to a probable cause affidavit.

ODHS launches mobile unit

The nation's first mobile unit teams for the Oklahoma Department of Human Services hit the road not long ago and last Wednesday was one of the teams’ first visits to Cushing. According to Cushing Senior Citizen Center Director Debbie Brown, it will not be the last.

Get Ready To Roll With National Bike and Roll to School Day

OKLAHOMA CITY (April 24, 2024) — Shape Your Future, a program of the Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust (TSET), encourages Oklahoma students, teachers and families to bike, walk, scoot or skate to the classroom on National Bike and Roll to School Day May 8.
